Biography

Julie Bridge is currently associate principal/third horn of the Syracuse Orchestra and instructor of horn at Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music. 

Bridge was featured as a soloist with the Syracuse Orchestra in 2016 performing Mozart’s Symphonie Concertante. She has also played with the Dallas, San Antonio, Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, Harrisburg, Fort Worth, Grand Rapids and Erie orchestras. Bridge received her undergraduate degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland, Ohio, and her master’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Her teachers include Greg Hustis, Jack Covert, Rick Solis and Eli Epstein.

Bridge is also an active freelance musician and has played horn with the Broadway national touring companies of “Lion King,” “Wicked,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “My Fair Lady” and others.
