Caroline Hu

Biography

Caroline Hu teaches Senior Portfolio Development for the VPA LA Semester program.

Hu graduated from Calarts and spent about 11 years in animation as a character designer and visual development artist before going to WB Consumer Products for another 11 or so years, doing character art for products for live action and animated properties. Nowadays, she teaches and freelances, doing storyboard for animation and live action. She apparently has three very cute but naughty cats and after about 15 plus years, finally got her black belt in kung fu (so students, don’t mess with her).
