​Kiano Moju

Biography

Kiano Moju is a producer, director, cookbook author and founder of Jikoni Studios. She holds a bachelor of science degree in communication and rhetorical studies from Syracuse University and a master of arts in publishing from University of the Arts London. Her debut solo authored cookbook “AfriCali” published in 2024 with Simon and Schuster. 

After learning the ropes of studio production in London, she joined BuzzFeed’s food video vertical, Tasty, where she produced viral successes in the social media video space. In 2019, Moju departed BuzzFeed and launched Jikoni Studios, a kitchen studio space in Los Angeles’ Arts District. Jikoni Studios specializes in consulting, culinary producing, food styling and the production of mobile-forward recipe content.
