Biography

Steffi Chappell is the director of curatorial affairs at the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, New York.

She provides strategic vision and managerial oversight for the Everson’s curatorial and collections departments, coordinating a robust exhibition schedule and curating exhibitions featuring the work of modern and contemporary American artists. Recent exhibitions include “Lessons in Geometry” (2025), “Putting Art to Work: Prints of the Works Progress Administration” (2024), “Tim Atseff: Final Edition” (2024), “Doug Muir: Coming Home” (2023), “Chromania” (2023) and “Arlene Abend: Resolute” (2022).
