Betsy Henderson

Biography

Betsy Henderson serves as the academic operations manager for the College of Visual and Performing Arts, a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing academic administration across the college. In this role, she manages the full faculty lifecycle, curriculum governance, academic reporting and ensures compliance with institutional and union policies.

Henderson began her career at Syracuse University in 2002 and has been part of VPA for more than 15 years. She takes pride in building strong partnerships across the college and is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that allows faculty and students to thrive. In addition to her role in VPA, Henderson serves as a Wellness Champion through the University’s Wellness Initiative, where she enjoys promoting health and well-being across campus. She enjoys staying active with her fit-family at the local gym, reflecting her passion for health, well-being and balance both on campus and at home.
