Pamela Hunsinger

Biography

Pamela Hunsinger is a seasoned administrator with a rich background in academic administration, most recently at Cornell University.

With a career spanning from 1999, where she began in student services, to her transition to administrative leadership in 2005, Hunsinger has established herself as a key figure in academic administration. After pursuing a B.S. in academic policy and human development and dedicating eight years to not-for-profit organizations focused on youth and community development, Hunsinger returned to Cornell in 2017. In her previous role as the director of administration in the College of Architecture, Art & Planning, she oversaw all financial, human resource and operational aspects of the Department of Architecture across locations in Ithaca, New York; New York City; and Rome, Italy.

Beyond her administrative expertise, Hunsinger is a nationally certified USA Track and Field coach who spent over 30 seasons coaching high school indoor and outdoor track, cross country, volleyball and basketball. In her leisure time, she operates her private piano studio and occasionally performs. An enthusiastic runner, golfer, volleyball player and dedicated perennial flower gardener, Hunsinger resides in Moravia with her husband and is a proud mother of two adult daughters.
