Biography

Aldo Kattón is a visionary choreographer, artistic director and experienced dance educator serving as an instructor of dance at Syracuse University. Originally from Mérida, Mexico, he brings over a decade of comprehensive experience in professional dance company leadership and artistic curation.

A specialist in classical ballet technique, repertoire and partnering, Kattón is committed to fostering a rigorous learning environment, designing innovative curricula and successfully coaching students for professional careers. His choreographic work actively promotes diversity, equity and inclusion to ensure the art of ballet continues to evolve.

His expertise extends beyond the studio to include production management, logistics and marketing for large-scale theatrical productions. He holds two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees (classical ballet and performing arts) and is a member of the International Dance Council (CID).
