Biography

Rick Li is a digital artist from New York City. He holds an M.F.A. in computer art from Syracuse University and a B.F.A. in media study from the University at Buffalo.

Li is currently a part-time instructor teaching intro and intermediate computer animation courses. Having over two years of teaching experience, he aims to develop a welcoming and fun educational environment for students who are interested in computer arts.

His artistic practices include themes of nostalgia and the influence of technology, with a focus on worldbuilding and visual storytelling. His work has been exhibited at BWAC Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, the Warehouse Gallery, and internationally at Institut für Alles Mögliche and WIRWIR in Berlin.
