Normandie Luscher

Biography

Normandie Luscher is an assistant professor of illustration in the School of Art.

Luscher previously served as an adjunct professor at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Towson University and the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. She is also a freelance illustrator. Her clients include Dig Inn, Dirt.Online, Cocomama and Mighty Kind Magazine.

Luscher’s illustration experience is in lettering, surface design work and product development. Her personal work has focused on narrative comics and children’s book scripts as well as surface design and holiday greeting cards. Her illustration work has been recognized by Creative Quarterly, 3x3 Magazine, Applied Arts Magazine and the LDS International Competition.

Luscher holds an M.F.A. in graduate illustration practice from MICA and a B.F.A. in illustration from Brigham Young University with art education K-12 licensure.
