Sanjana Sharma

Biography

Sanjana Sharma is an illustrator and graphic designer from India currently based in Syracuse, New York.

Her practice believes art can provoke thought, challenge stereotypes and amplify marginalized voices. Through visual storytelling, she explores cultural and social questions, presenting familiar ideas in unexpected ways. She is currently working on her thesis, a graphic novel that is centered around analyzing the archival nature of Konkani kitchens in India and how it can be used as an effective tool in the revival of culture.
