Biography

Joanna Spitzner is an artist whose work is often time based, employing performances, exchanges, discussions, video and sound.

She aims to connect everyday experiences, such as working life and gender, to larger social issues. She has created experimental organizations as artworks, including the Art School in the Art School, the Joanna Spitzner Foundation, Inc., and the Union of Undercover Artists.
